The show pictures were taken at the 2009 Concorso Italiano. I didn't scrutinize the car closely, but it seems to be a very nice car (silver cars are a cut above the rest ). If the paint was performed by Hall Pantera then that's about the best paint job money can buy, it will last for decades. If the owner is who I think it is, the 408 stroker is only a few years old.

That car has a reserve according to Mecum. They also added another Pantera for Saturday night.

To each his own, but I really think they ruined the front end of the red Group IV with the headlight conversion.

Now the silver Group IV from the Nero video is very nice. I would like to own that one.

When you click on the lot number or look at the "consignment list" page, there will be a yellow "NR" on the vehicles with no reserve. They do not list the reserve amount on any of their vehicles.

I may go to that auction & check things out. I have the appraisal on that silver one from back in 1999 when I was scouting around for another car. Looked nice back then too.

To each his own but the head lights on the red pantera don't do it for me at all.

In my humble opinion, I think that if designers of the era would have had the choise they most likely would not have used them. How many times You see a picture of a Pantera with the lights up. Ever see a picture of the Porsche 928 with the 2cv lights on? Can't someone ask Tom Tjaarda about it, I am just wondering.

moisture, condensation ? price ? and.. when were those all-in-1 cast units availeble ? i can imagine the first ones were no more than standard lights with a seperate "plexi" glas over them , not even scratch free ?

The headlights are like Cindy Crawford's mole, without them the Pantera's beauty would be unreal
