Pantera guaranted buy back

When the US Panteras were new, did Ford have a guaranteed buy back and guaranteed trade in value for it.

I had a Mercur Scorpio that did. I was told by the dealer then that he remembered that the Panteras did to.

Anyone here know anthing about a program for the Pantera back then.

I am not sure if Ford offered a buy back guaranty.

I will honor the buy back program at this time. I know it sounds to good to be true, but yes 40 years later i will gladly refund your money....anyone?

Using the inflation index here is the value

$1,000 in 1972 dollars would be worth $5,318 in 2009 dollars....so your $11,000 Pantera in 1972 would be $58,498.00 in 2009....Mark
