This looks like a nice car:
red 1973 Pantera, item 110050239099

The description says the car has appeared in Pantera International. Does anyone know this car personally, and if so, do you have an opinion of it?

It looks like almost exactly what I want.

It's in Knoxville, TN, and the auction ends tomorrow afternoon.

Thanks,
Marcus

I talked to one guy in Knoxville about a year ago. He is a mamber of POCA and there are about three to five guys there in KNoxville who own Panteras. The guy I talked to had two Panteras and was saying how one guy in Knoxville owns five. So it may be one of his??

If you want it, I'll back off, but it begs the question: Do we really need another one?

I used to think it was only fair that each person can have only one, now I am leaning to buy all that you can. I would be willing to bet that over sixty percent of surviving Panteras are rotting away in someones barn. I know personaly that I will need to have at least three Panteras. One for driving around for pleasure, one trailer queen for car shows, and one full race Pantera for vintage racing events. So when I retire I will not only restore my car to grade a condition, I will buy two rusty ones and fix one up as a driver and one up as an all out racecar.

Have fun!

I figured that was you. I'm also a bidder on that car.

Thanks. I guess we'll see if I can meet the reserve, and how badly the current high bidder wants it. Obviously, he hasn't met the reserve yet.

If anyone else wants to comment, please do.
