The 2014 Pantera's Northwest Fall Cruise is set. We are going to Bend, Oregon September 12th to the 15th. It's the weekend of the Oregon Festival of Cars in Bend. They are very excited that the Pantera's are coming to their show. We are leaving Tacoma, Wa. (about 30 min. south of Seattle) at 8:00a.m. on Friday morning the 12th and heading south on I-5 to Woodburn, Oregon(about 3 hours)where we will tour the restoration shop of Denny and Maggie Finn, one of our PNW members that is currently working on a 72 Pre-L for a customer. After visiting the shop and connecting with the Oregon group we will have lunch in Silverton and head over the mountains on Hwy. 22 to Hwy 20 and on into Bend. We are staying at Mt. Bachelor Village Resort(www.mtbachelorvillage.com) host for The Oregon Festival of Cars in Bend, Oregon. To register for the show go to (www.oregonfestivalofcars.com). The plan is to hang out on Friday night after we get settled and check out everyones' cars and maybe have a beer or a glass of wine. Saturday the 13th we are participating in the show and after we will have a group dinner. Sunday the festival of cars is doing a tour around Bend but we have decided to do our own and head south about 90 miles(about an hour) to Crater Lake; one of the scenic wonders you need to see. There are some great photo ops around the rim of the crater with the lake as a back drop. We will then head back to Bend for the night. Monday we are heading north on Hwy 97 into Yakima, Wa. where some will head west over Chinook Pass; some north over Snoqualmie Pass; or stay on 97 if you are headed back to Calgary.

The Pantera's Northwest Fall Cruise has become one of the premier Pantera events of the year and you don't want to miss it. Rooms are filling up fast at the Village so if you are planning on attending you need to make your reservations quick. Most of us are just signed up for the show (which has a limited number also so get signed up) but there are lots of other activities associated with the show so check out their web site. Sharon and I look foward to seeing everyone and look forward to meeting new friends and new cars. You have more than 80 days to get your cars ready if it's not road ready now; so time to get started. Let me know if you need any more information and I will get it to you. Tim
