The 2016 Fall Cruise is set. The destination to be the Selkirk Loop, a 450km/280-mile 4 day scenic drive encircling the spectacular Selkirk Mountains in eastern Washington, northern Idaho and southeastern British Columbia. The western Washington contingent will leave North Bend, WA. at 8:00am on the 9th and meet up with the group from the east and south in Spokane, Wa. for lunch. From there we will head north to Nelson, BC. which is part way around the loop and stay at the Prestige Lodge on Kootenay Lake (yes the same one we stayed at on the RMR). We are staying for two nights and participating in the Road Kings of Nelson BC car weekend. Sunday we will finish the loop and end up back in Spokane, WA. for dinner and awards banquet. Monday after a farewell breakfast in Post Falls, Id. we head home. It promises to be another great cruise, on great roads and their is plenty of time to get it together and join us! Everyone's welcome. For more information let me know.

Make sure to check your passport expiration date. Ours ends in June so we need to renew right away so it gets done. I don't know if Canada requires at least 6 months to the expiration date from time of entry. Just my thoughts.

On that same subject, Washington's enhanced driver license are sounding like they may not work in the future. With this article , you have to wonder where we are headed.

I must chime in one last time. Thank you very much #1755 and the rest of the gang at the PNW club for getting the next fall cruise planned out. And thank you Uncle Buck for pointing out the new issues with the WA state drivers options. It will all work out for everyone. Change is always challenging. Now my challenge is getting my cat ready for the road trip.
