Pending on what you're looking for- I'm about to put my car up for sale. It's a 72 Pre-L w/a rust-free body, built motor, and solid transaxle. Car runs and drives great...

BUT- Right now, I've started to tear it down in order to restore it as it needed some minor body work and a new paint job. No time left for it with work and grad school...

i am sorry i missed your reply, i have been buried with work and Engineering school. i will look up his car, but i figured anything that new has to be in the $50k+ range since all the old ones from 71-73 are so high now. i should have bought one of these3 years ago!

at elast i have time on my side and cash in hand.

thanks!

i have to admit the Ferrari's and lambos of this era seem to have "set" price ranges. however, with the Panteras, the prices are all over the place! i do like how the cars are different and unique.

still looking for a good driver.

i wish some of the books i ordered would get here!
Probably because I'm "on the buying" side, but I'm finding that there seems to be a big discrepancy between what the people who have cars for sale think their car is worth versus what I think it's worth and what I'm willing to pay (and I don't think I'm being cheap either). There are a ton of cars at 40k+ that have been for sale for what seems to me to be a long time. Does200's car sounds like something I'd be very interested in but again, I'm scared away by the perceived value of the car. Sorry, just voicing my frustration.
