Parking brake | The De Tomaso Forums

Would anyone be able to share pictures of how the parking brake handle is mounted under the dash and the cable routed in front? My car is missing the complete parked my brake system (other than the bracket welded to the frame in back). It can with a handle that looks correct, though I suspect the mounting points are different. Plus I’m not seeing where the cable would be routed.

I dont think we've seen you car's VIN, Early cars have an Ford unbrella style handle, while leftover cars have a Mercedes setup.

Mine is an early car, #682. I know the handle at least is from a Lotus Elan.

At the front of the car, is there supposed to be another pulley at the bottom to route the cable back? Also is it one long cable from the handle to the back pivot?
