I saw that episode a while back, but if the owner really picked that car up in a storage building like he said he did not a bad payoff for his time!!
A little off your topic...I watched American Pickers last night, same M.O. sure seems like alot of stuff is staged but they were at some guys place in Florida or Georgia and he had tractors all over his yard, he lets them have a peek in his barns WOW all sorts of antique signs, gas pumps, old cars, cigarette vending machines, and all of it was in very nice original conditon.
But to the point he was a retired judge and he knew what everything was worth and they wouldnt buy nothing from him....

Yeah I saw the pic of the Sultans Pantera, very sad...

As for American Pickers, I saw that episode and damn he had some great automobilia in that garage, but honestly having that much stuff would be cumbersome and purging some of it would be ideal.
