Checking e-mails this am and I received one from Paypal notifying me that the very nice Melinda Navarro has just sent me $93.50 through them. Since I'm not selling anything I thought this to be a little odd. In the email it has a link that says "View details of this transaction online." Curious I clickee. Of course it takes me to the "security page" where it wants me to put in my email address and of course my password. My IST department once told me NEVER give out sensitive info on a link unless you are 100% sure of the info and then still dont do it. So I got out and when went to paypal to check my account and you what I found? Well I didn't find $93.50.
Below is a copy of the e-mail. Amazing they even say in the email not to give your password out in a link.
