5754If you're not kickin' up dust, you're collectin' it!

For anyone who didn't believe that the angle you take a photo at can make a difference, here's what I've found with a simple experiment.

Both photos were take at the same location one after the other, all I did was slightly change my shooting angle, and as you can see, the hits on the pictures within an hour of posting are drastically different.

So, watch those angles guys!

Russ, I think it may also have something to do with colour. As we all know, orange is more dynamic than faded blue. BTW, a link to the high-resolution images will enable further, more detailed analysis...

BTW Mark, I saw in another stream that you're giving out bonus points for keeping the pulse rate up on this forum. I think some of these shots (at least the ones I'm not in) deserve a point or two as well!

I have had similar results. :-)

Notice that the car shot from the back is least popular, shot off the front quarter panel is more popular, but shot straight on from the front is the most popular by far.

I will also point out that the first two shots have been up continuously. The straight on shot was only up for two or three weeks before I made it "private". Bit too racy for the Rever Flickr account.
