Hey George, What are the plans for this get together at the Fun Rally? I heard something about go cart racing, but thats about all. Any details available?

Now that sound's FUN!
Thursday night we're sponsoring a karting event. 7PM at a family fun center in Las Vegas. Food and other entertainment are also available there.
I don't have the details before me, however we chose the place because it was inexpensive, and offered a lot of time in the karts for little money. Its a family place, this is not a hard core karting event, the emphasis is on fun and camaraderie with your Pantera brothers you might not have ever met before, or who you only meet once a year in Vegas. I'll be there, we'll have trophies. I can guarantee you'll have a memorable night.

Glad to see some details on this event. I plan on being there and driving.
I wish there were more details. I have asked a few times what is going on, but I get no response.
My situation is different than most of you...I am the only one that LIVES in Vegas, but I can't take a lot of time away from the office. Knowing what is going on would make it possible for me to hang out with you for a few hours.

Robert, the Fun Rally is organized by POCA, I always wait for POCA people to post info about their event; however, I am a member of POCA, so I can share what I know:

Spring Mountain Race Track event, Day 1, from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Car show on Fremont Street from 9 AM to 3 PM.
Our go-kart event at the Las Vegas Mini Grand Prix, starts at 7 PM
Friday May 2
Spring Mountain Race Track event, Day 2, from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Cruise to the Shelby Museum and Mount Charleston at 10 AM to 4 PM
Saturday May 3
"Speed Spectacular" at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway 8 AM to 4 PM
(includes NHRA heritage drag racing, a hot rod & custom car show, live rock n roll & rockabilly bands)
Red Rock Canyon & Bonnie Springs cruise & lunch 10:30 AM to 2 PM
Pantera Tech Session at the Orleans, Salon H, 3 PM to 4 PM
Awards Banquet & Raffle, Orleans Esplanada Ballroom, 6 PM to 10 PM

The price is $19.95, which buys you 90 minutes of time in a go-kart, 2 slices of pizza & a drink.
Not bad, huh? We had a great time last year with the Poker Run, lots of good camaraderie. This year will be more of the same, with some fun in a go-kart thrown in. All for $20 bucks.

What would be my best way to meet up with some of you when I get out there on Saturday? Would I be able to go to the tech session? Or will some still be at the speedway show?
