Subject: WHP is Full!!!!!!!

Congratulations, we did it! We filled our original block allocation, then the expanded block allocation, and then the balance of available rooms in the hotel.

On Gil’s recommendation, I contacted the Courtyard which I understand is about 2 miles from the WHP complex. Laura, Director of Sales at the Courtyard, told me that the on-line rate for their rooms is $150; however, they will match the $100 rate available from WHP. The facility is less than 2 years old.

WHP is now apprising Fun Rally registrants of this option when they call for a room. My dialogue with Laura follows.

Hello John,

Thanks again for your phone call this morning! I am really looking forward to hosting any overflow guests for the upcoming Pantera Owners Club group this April. If you could provide my contact information to those guests who still need to make a reservation, I would be happy to honor the $100 room rate that you had set up at the Wild Horse Pass Hotel.

They can either call or email me, and I will take care of the rest! Please let me know if you have any questions.

Mark, can you post this update to the website?

Gil, could you post this information to the PI and POCA Forums, in view of my home e-mail being compromised at present. Please feel free to edit it as you feel best for mass distribution.

Cordially

opps.. Here's the shorter version I should have forwarded...

Good morning,
With under three weeks left, before the big show. Wild Horse Pass is busting at the seams with Fun Rally participants, we have filled the first block, they released a second block, we filled that. Now, they are sold out. Wow!!! All the overflow is being sent to the Courtyard at 1100 S. Price(480-855-8600). The last count I have from Judy as of monday is 240, she had to take a break from opening letters and making buttons. We are well beyond the Reno numbers, congrates to all.
Regarding the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass suggested by Julian, a shuttle runs every half hour between that hotel an our host hotel as they both reside on the same reservation.

Also, as Steve suggested, the Radisson may also be a good alternative offering a $66 room rate.

We have no allegience to the Courtyard, other than their proximity and flexibility to match the Host hotel's rate.

I appreciate the alternative suggestions for the later registrants.

This Fun Rally has the makings for the best attendance in over six years. More friends and comraderie is a wonderful formula for a grand time. For those who have yet to see the itinerary for the Event, it ought to be distributed soon. I am confident you will like what you see. The Arizona Chapter is pulling all the stops to make it a memorable event. Arizona members are participating in force. In view of this, there will be Panteras present that many have not seen previously. Also, several owners are bring cars from the east; yours truly included.

This year, Wednesday's check in for the event and the hospitality area will kick off in the patio and pool area. The open bar will be poolside. We're shaking things up a bit. Pretty cool, eh!

See you in only a couple of weeks. Bring your suits and sunscreen.
