My car has 93000 miles on it. So every owner has driven it and enjoyed its ownership. Longest drive was from Phoenix to Colorado when I bought it. Mostly day trips into the Rocky Mountains which begin 20 miles from here. Can't remember the mileage when I bought it. I'd guess I have put less than 20,000 on it in 8 years.
My 1973 has 12,856 original miles on it. Smiler

When we got it back in 1986 it had 7,614 miles. Still about 95% original down to the paint. After 38 years I'm just now having to rebuild the original clutch master/slave and brake master cylinder. I'm having them bronze sleeved so I can keep the original ones and eliminate corrosion forever.

I've stepping up the driving a bit lately, but I'll probably still only put 500-600 miles a year on it.

Forest is the current leader, although my goal is to kick his butt ;-)

I bought my car with 40,000km. I currently have 135,000 km. I've rebuilt the engine once and done basically a complete restoration once, and will do each as many times as necessary to be able to enjoy the car.

In 2006 I put over 5000 kilometers on the car in 8 days. I could translate that into mpg and $ or €, but I'd just get depressed. I prefer to think of the memories that I have as a result instead.

When I bought my former '72 Pantera it had only 33,000 miles on it and I thought it would be a shame to pile the miles onto a car that had travelled so little in 25 years. Three months later I drove from South Dakota to Syracuse, Ny and back, so that plan kind of went out the window and I haven't looked back since.

Those of you who don't drive your car - you are really missing out on a huge part of the experience. Some of the happiest (and, to be honest, most frustrating) experiences of my entire life have been as a result of a major road trip in the Pantera.

You want to talk about road trips? I sent the afore-mentioned Pantera from the US to France when I moved there to be able to continue enjoying it. They are boat-miles, but they should count for something!

Mikael - see you at Le Mans!!!
