THE AC WORK FINE,GOOD AND COLD. IS IT POSSIBLE THAT ICE BUILT UP ON THE CONDENCER AND WHEN IT BROKE LOOSE MADE THE POP AND THE WHITE ICE SMOKE. IS THERE SOME KIND OF SYSTEM THAT KEEP THIS FROM HAPPENING? A CYCLER OR THERMOSTAT ON OFF SENSOR.

Locating the blown spot will be difficult since it was under the dash or in the console tunnel (there are still two hoses running to/from the compressor on the engine), but somewhere there will be an oil-soaked place.
