I was just looking at the Mov'it brakes website (www.movit.de/) and was wondering if anyone has used this system before. If so, was it simple bolt on instalation, and how much did you pay? Is the performance as good as they claim? Just wondering how they compared to the Wilwood superlites (price and performance).

Reading further on their web page, they say they don't offer web shopping, nor do they list Pantera or DeTomaso as one of the systems they build. So I expect you'd have to somehow get your car to Germany for a custom install. Perhaps later they'll have US dealers to install the system. As for using 'Porsche brakes', I have been running early Porsche rotors on a '72 Pantera L since 1990, and mounted 911S alloy front calipers on the rear in 1995. Since I do all my own machining, the cost was nominal, after some engineering. The vented rotors are identical in diameter & thickness to solid Pantera rotors, needing only a hat adapter. The 'Porsche' rotors and 2-piston 911 calipers were not made by Porsche, incidently. They are made by ATE, who also supply brake parts for Volvo, BMW and many other Euro cars. I use Wilwood Superlite II 4- piston front calipers and stock 8" Campy 15" wheels frt & back.
