Power steering

quite recently, well a couple of months ago an electrical power steering unit was announced here and I'm sure several owners made their purchase.

It seemed a grand idea to me, can we have some feedback from these, I hope very satisfied customers, especially those who fitted it themselves??

Hi Peter, I bought the system from Scott at SACC and installed it myself. Very straight forward easy install. Also adjustable with a knob that you turn for easier or stiffer steering. Very happy with it! Steve

I have the EZ Electric PS system. Here's the link:

The major difference between this system and the SACC system is, it's speed sensitive, so the quicker you go, the less assist you get. In fact, the assist is gone by the time you reach highway speeds. Unfortunately, that makes it a little more complicated to install and a little more expensive.
