I would have loved to have been the fly on the wall that heard the conversation of what Barrett Jackson thought each of these Panteras would bring at auction. Looking at the history of recent auction sales, it has been less than stellar.

I just wonder what Barrett thinks they will bring, they would have told the consignor some kind of estimate, and obviously the seller is fine with it; especially concerning because Barrett Jackson is a no reserve auction.....

DeMopuar - The consignor is local to me and is taking 20+ cars to BJ in OC. I was in his shop the other day. He is the same guy who sold it at auction about a year ago but something didnt work out and he kept the car. It is not in great shape. Body and paint look good but the gold is coming off the trim pretty bad. It is going to sell cheap!

I think I remember some discussion about it on the board just before the auction.

This time it wil sell as BJ is no reserve.

White car didn't look too bad, no sale at top bid of $59K. Photos in my Palm Springs folder: http://www.poca.com/index.php/...fd944253089f18bacaad
