I had spent about four months this year tring to get my shifter linkage adjusted and with the help of people on this forum I was able to get the car drivable. But the linkage continued to hit the fram on all the gears toward the back of the gate. I decided to just live with it. Well the other day, I read that the proper way to install the cross-brace was with all the wieght off the rear wheels. So I tried that and low and behold the linkage clease the frame now. Wow. Just a little something from reading posts, and it is like driving a new car again.
It just goes to show you that there is no such thing as too much knowledge. SO keep educating me, it is starting to pay off. Wink
