Rear Axles

I'm replacing my rear bearings and lower bushings. As I inspect my rear uprights and axles I noticed that it appears all my wheels studs look brand new? Also, someone replaced only the top control arm bushings and now I'm wondering if someone also replaced the axles while they were at it? How can I tell if I have a stock axle or one of the aftermarket axles?
