How does the rear view mirror come out? There are no visible fasteners, and it's in there really solid.

Never mind. The handy dandy search feature revealed the answer. There is an internal 3 point spring clip that holds the mirror to the mount plate. It pops off with a good tug. Mount plate is held by 2 screws. Removing it resulted in the nasty, dusty headliner falling on my head.

Here's a pic. A hefty pull on the arm (towards the rear of the car) or a flat bladed tool can be inserted into the notch at the top of arm, but may have to be bent to clear the windshield.
