Rearview mirror removal

OK, this may sound really dumb, but how do I remove the inside rearview mirror? I'm sure its simple, but I can't quite see it and I would rather ask than break something. Thanks for the help.

Not dumb at all Joe. It just pries off. No trick. It has two spring clips that press into the bracket that's screwed to the roof. Just pry gently and it will come off.

I've removed mine a few times by bumping it with my head, and uttering the magic 4 letter word, as I got into the car.
