http://strutwise.com/index.php This looks like a good source to get struts rebuilt. They have rebuilt struts for Panteras before. I was quoted $130.00 for the pair. I really want to keep the original look of the strut. They do have a Cortte&Cosso vinyl decal, but I was told if they got an order for 12 pairs of rebuilds, they could screen print the logo just like original.
Well, I'm sending in my struts, now I just need 11 more Pantera owners to do the same.
So forget those skinny aftermarket struts that look like something from a Honda Civic, and get your “Man-Size” Italian struts rebuilt! Smiler

Strut-wise did my NSX struts PERFECTLY
I invited Frank at StrutWise to post something to this forum, but no reply yet. Here's an excerpt from an e-mail he sent me.

{Visa or Mastercard is fine.
What i do with shipping David is you can post them to me&just write on the customs document"To be repaired"&nil value&that works fine.
You can ship Post,UPS FedEX etc}

No word on the screen printing of the Cortte&Cosso logo or any group discount. If you have questions, contact Frank at info@strutwise.com.
Hopefully he'll post something here when he has a chance.
I phoned Frank yesterday and I'll be sending mine up very soon. He confirmed the $130 price and to declare a $10 value for the struts on the customs form. He asked a few questions on my struts present condition and felt he could repair them. It doesn't seem likely that the silk screened emblem thing is going to happen, he said the stickers are good quality though.

Does anyone know where I could find a set of the rubber dust boots?
My struts reappeared the other day. Total charges with shipping was just under $175.

Repainted satin black. They look like new. I wonder how he gets those things apart.

Anyway, I put them back in, no more drooping deck lid now. These things have got some oomph. You've got to pull the lid down to latch. I don't think it's enough to distort anything though.

To raise it, push down on the lid, press the release button and it rises pretty quickly all by itself through about 2/3 of it's travel then creeps up to full open slowly.

Miss P's winter abode is heated, but when I'm not there I keep it at about 38 degrees. The lid didn't droop at all overnight.
Well my struts showed up today approx 2 1/2 months and let me tell you it was worth the wait.The deck is so smooth opens 3/4 of the way then creeps up the balance as in previous post.
Frank is the man if you want it original and to work the way they should thats where to go.I am a happy dude,forgot what engine looked like.Well worth the cost and wait. dancing
