Recently purchased Pantera GTS

I recently purchased 6899 and would like to say hello to everyone. It is the copper brown color with traditional black inserts. This is my third Pantera and I am very pleased with it so far, needs a little touch up here and there but that's part of the fun. This one has what looks to be a factory sun roof which I didn't know was available, I've never even seen a picture of one. It also has a set of 8" and 10" BBS style wheels with GTS in the center caps, does anyone know if this was an option?

Hi Tom, welcome to the community!

Is the sunroof not glass, and painted the same color as the car and flush with the roof? Does your Pantera have a different cut down decklid? Do you know if it was once painted yellow?

If so, you may have purchased the Dellarosa Pantera which was for sale some time ago. It's a rare Pantera.

Post some picture for us to see, and good luck with it!

The sunroof is not glass, painted same color as the car and is flush with the roof. I don't think it was painted yellow because GTS's did not come in that color. On the underside the material is the same as the headliner which is a black vinyl with little holes. Thanks.

"Stock headliners were white"...perhaps for all Lincoln Mercury Panteras.

Weren't European Panteras mostly customer driven and could have the headliner in black? Also, late model cars have black headliners too.

Anyone know definitively on the sunroof? What's the deal with the Dellarosa Pantera?
