Has been a while since I purchased a new set of pre-sized ignition wires and would appreciate some suggestions to what is a good choice without over spending.

IMHO MSD makes a great set of plug wires .

I like MSD. But if you have a wire loom that routes your wires neatly along the valve cover, get a universal cut-to-fit set. I bought a 351C set of MSD plug wires for my engine and found they weren't long enough to use my wire loom.

The wires are actually for my friend's 74 who has as do I the aluminum Detomaso valve covers. He had these hideous Mr. Gasket chrome wire holders that atached to a valve cover bolt. This said I do not want to utilize this unattractive wire holding option and was curious if there is something available comparable to what was used on the stock valve covers to hold the wires neatly in place on the aluminum covers.

Thanks again, though you really can't see the blue loom on the top of the valve cover. Does it just lay on top or does it some how clip on or is bonded to the cover with an adhesive?
