Owning a Pantera is BITCHEN, isn't it?

Hanging out on the bulletin board is fun, isn't it?

You're a great bunch of folks. Some of you have never met in person, and yet you've developed relationships, based on your common passion for this BITCHEN car.

That, in itself, is BITCHEN too!

Thanks everyone for adding value to the hobby of Pantera ownership, and for making this BB such a far out cyber-place to hang out.

People can have differing opinions respectfully here. Attitudes are generally positive.

Its going to get better, if you can believe that. Owners of other marques will observe us and wonder, why are those Pantera guys having such a good time.

The answer, we're having a good time because you get out of it, what you put into it! The curious will log onto this BB, see what a great bunch you are, how much fun we're having, and they'll want to own one too. The value of these cars will continue to escalate. You watch. The Pantera will be known as the FUN Italian sports car to own. Yeah!

Yes George, as you well know, I am a BIG Pantera fan and owner. Yesterday an old friend came into the shop, I hadn't seen in 10 years or so...he started bragging about this car and that he had recently purchased. And he wanted to bring in his '64 356 Porsche in for an alignment next week..well, I couldn't take it anymore.."you know," I said, "I sold the black car"(grand national) "and pick up something I always wanted".."oh yeah, what?" he asked.."a DeTomaso Pantera", I replied. His eyes nearly came out of his head, and his jaw hit the ground, then tried to play it "cool", but I knew he was envious. Well, I don't normally play the "my toy better than yours game", but he was asking for it.
The Pantera is fast becoming the car to own..because of its impact in the automotive world, and its continued power to impress people who have never heard of the car.

YES! someday. As time allows, I plan to make tours of North America in my Pantera, and visit everyone on the BB that wants to meet me. I'll snap pictures & write a little story for PI magazine. Sounds like fun & adventure to me.

George, if you do your tour (and I hope you do), please work in a couple of days at the north eastern end to vist us here. We'd love to show you around and toss back some buttery nipples. Heck, we'll even share some of our beer with you!
So what ever happened to the Pantera Drive Around America tour that was being organized by the guys out East? Weren't they gonna start in September or something? This would be just the thing for George.

George, if not, then plan on attending Italian Car Fest here in Dallas in September. Dave and Linda Adler, Tom Tjaarda and 25 other Pantera types from around this part of the country should be here for the weekend.

I want to clairfy my plans, to prevent any misunderstandings. I plan on touring North America over the course of many years, not one trip. I'll get around to meeting everyone who wants to meet, but not in the same year.

Having explained that, of course my friends, there is a sincere desire in my heart to hang out with each of you. Mark, a pack of angry overweight housewives couldn't stand in my way of getting up your way. Tom, I'd rather cut off my right arm than forget you my friend. Jeff, I love Texas & Texans, you bet I'll make it out your way. Dave & Linda have mentioned getting out to your Italian Car Fest this year. I don't know if I can make it this year, we'll have to play it by ear. This year is turning into a very busy one for me. I want to make 'Vegas & Monterey for sure, because those are the big ones. There are many years ahead to make the other events. Rest assured, If I could, I'd be at every one of them.
