Ring and Pinion

Has anyone here changed the rear end ratio with a ring and pinion?
The 4.22 would be great if there was a better 1st gear ratio to the ZF.
Considering what they cost, I wanted a little feedback.
Maybe we could do a group buy and get them down to $4000?
I suppose that it is pointless to ask if anyone has an extra 4.6 or 5.25 laying around huh?
