hey everyone:
just a quik pic of my new engine. still need several things to hook up before running as you can see in the pic. left header, exhaust, water hoses, spreader bar, half shafts etc. the engine bay was absolutley horrible on this car. good size dents and dings all over the place not to mention the massive amount of undercoating that had to be removed. there was udercoating that had melted and then dried again 100 times over so that it just oozed down the fender walls and the under side of the deck lid. did all the engine bay repair myself and as you can tell i'm not a paint and body man but i'm telling you it looks 100% better than it did. if i knew how much work it was going to be i would have hired a professional to do it and it would have looked much better. oh well, the nice engine and transaxle kinda distracts someone from looking for all the remaining flaws in the bay itself. well, now for the exterior. gonna go for the group 4 look. just hope it dosen't take another 18+ months like it did for the engine and engine bay. the exterior is really not that bad so i can deal with it until i recup from this. my interior has also been redone in the last two years so thats out of the way as well. will send more pics when i get it running. thank you to all you pantera nuts out there. could not have done this without your support. this has been a dream of mine since i saw my first pantera in 1979.
it is finally coming true.
