My friends I regret to announce that as of 2 PM Pacific standard time we had not reached our track participant goal for the Run In The Desert event, and I sadly had to instruct Jim Cozzolino to inform Arizona Club Racing that we were releasing our track time so they could sell it to others.

To those who had payed in advance, and those who had recently committed I apologize. We were all looking forward to having a good time with one another, and with our cars; I share your disappointment. Everyone who payed shall receive a full refund check. I shall be telephoning all 6 payed participants so they will have plenty of time to cancel their plans.

This in no way means I shall not attempt to conduct future events, nor am I the least bit discouraged. We shall continue to brainstorm ideas for events, and keep trying, until we find something that strikes a chord with our membership. I welcome any thoughts and ideas you might have on the subject.

My goal is to bring more fun to the hobby and add value to everyone's experience of Pantera ownership.

I wish to express my most heart felt gratitude to those who have supported our effort, and especially to Jim Cozolino for the tremendous amount of work he had put into the event.

George

Refund ????
I thought you said I could spend the money with Nora...?

I tore up the check for 3000.00 and tossed it in the trash.

To the guys that supported the event, sorry guys, we tried.

Hey George, bring Jim and the boys down to our SUN RUN tour in Oct..its gonna be fun,- get to play a bit, unmolested, with not a cop in sight .....over 30x glorious mountain passes..(read "Octane" magazine editorial, Jan. edition.) We've already got a bunch of Jaguars; E-Types, a nice Roller of a friend of mine, a steriodal Bentley Turbo, Jensen, 1x Jag C-Type, 2x D-Types, a 50's replica of the winning Le Mans jag engined, cycled - fendered Tabot Lago ( All to be seen on the website....) At least a dozen Pantera's plus hopefully my new "Hi- Tech" GRP4 Pantera. A Mongoose, a very beautiful 30's Alfa Romeo racer, using Alfa '76 2600 six motor box & running gear. Magnificent.

Check out site for pics/video/articles/fre-wallpapers..etc. Also Alfa roadster "Speedline",- donor car Alfa Giuelette(?) turbo, twin-cam/motor & running gear. And my favorite: the 30's recreaction of a Jaguar 2-door, long-bonneted (Hood)"SS" coupe.- But they didnt build one....We have. Using all, purpose built chassis and all Jag XJS V12 donor running gear ...very tasty,- you should hear the sound of this monster, its over 1000lbs lighter than the donor XJS we used...it will bustle along very nicley I am sure..must be finished for the run....
See what you think.....Cheers,
