Scam Car on Ebay??

This car has been listed before on ebay. Bid on it .... for 5300.00 LOL

I emailed the seller,in order to get on the bidders list.

Be careful. Several people on the Forum have said that this is a scam to get your e-bay account information. If you click on " Ask the owner a question" it brings up a screen that wants your user name & password. Don't do it!

Incorrect. If you haven't already logged into your Ebay account before clicking on Ask Seller a Question, then you will always get a prompt to login. This ad is no different in that respect.

You know, The way I figure it. It is Ebays problem not mine. Most of the scams are so obvious, you know, will you accept a check for more than the sale price and send the extra to an offshore bank.I asked to get on the bidders list, and did not send any personal info. Thanks for the inside info. I will be careful not to disclose any personal info about my account.The one thing that scares me is where he says....No rust ever!

Thanks for the correction. I'm not much of an e-bay user & was just passing along what one of the forum members had to say this morning. This & several other aspects of this auction got a lot of comments about it being a scam. Better safe than sorry.

I only go home once in 8 months, it's a shame to keep a car like this garraged for such a long time .

Sad thing is, this was tried last year and the year before using different pictures but always with the same, and I mean to the word, response from the "seller".
