Hi Bob:

I've never seen these seats but I agree that they look perfect for Panteras. I see these guys have a Nevada phone number. Would be great to find someone out there who could try a test-fitting.

With my height I need my seats to be waaaay low and all the way back.

Let me know if you hear anything more.

BF Torino manufactured the seats for the Pantera Si, and I believe Roland had the same seats installed in his Targa. As you can see from the pics, they are not the same seats being imported by GTS Classics. GTS Classics is importing "retro styled" seats, which among other things, have a low seat back, like the Pantera oem seats. Matt, the LeMans seat has the lowest seat cushion of those offered, it's only 4.7" thick.

I'll agree, some of the models look pretty cool, like they belong in the Pantera.

Width is the challange with aftermarket seats. Seats wider then the stock Pantera will mean creative fitting. This is really true for the passenger side, where the e-brake box takes up critical inches in the compartment.

Second problem is the seat brackets. One could opt to bolt them right to the floorboards, but if adjustability is desired, then fabbing brackets is needed. Creative thinking and parts availabilty could makes this easy or hard when considering keeping height as low as possible.

Best to call and see if they have a set that some customer mounted in a Pantera that you could speak too. If not, check the return policy just in case they do not fit.
Rover....... Actually right now I have my seat tracks removed, and the seat is mounted to a aluminum plate that I adjust in 1/2" increments. (thru the current holes)....I also swap out the drivers side for a Corbeau Forza during AutoX events. (which works excellent)....So my plan would be to mount whatever seats in the same manner..........
If you take a measurment directly across from the seatbelt retractor, which is dead-center on the back-most bottom seat section, and go vertical (literally) to the roof. I measure 33". (granted thats not where your head would be, just a good plage to reference measure).

Nils........ The Forza i have angled backwards a bit, still on a aluminum plate, which just gives me enough for AutoX and my helmet, so I'd say no doubt its lower. I cant (if i wanted to) angle this one back because of the headrest.

I will say that the seating position is great just as it sits, and the more im in these new ones.......... they are super. I dont slide (probably the basket weave helps that), but my lower back feels great now.

I'm 5'11", and dont hit the roofline sitting in a natural position. The plate (as with my others) is just that 1/8" aircraft grade aluminum. It works that the original (4) mounting holes are used.

So with any type of dropped floor you could fit anyone in there taller than 6'.......and side clearence is not an issue at all.

T made the plate 1st (similar to my others...something like 16 3/8" wide and 20" deep) then placed waxed painters paper over it, set the seat in place as best I could, and market the spots to mount. I also dropped a string from steering wheel to floor so i could see when front of seat was close to center...etc)
