I have pantera # 874 THPNVA 09178.
I understand that the last set of numbers is the production number.
Can someone please tell me what the other numbers and letters mean.
Thank you.

The V should stand for the year and the A designates the Month. I am sure one of the Pantera books would have this break down. I am surprised this info is not listed on PanteraPlace.com or Chuck Melton's page. ;o)
T = Source Company Code (DeTomaso 1971/72)
(Ghia Operations 1973/ )
H = Assembly Plant (Modena, Italy 1971/72)

PN = Model Code (Pantera)
N = Calendar Year Code (L = 1971)
(M = 1972)
(N = 1973)
(P = 1974)

You mean 874 * and such ?
874 = Pantera.
Don't remember what the Mangusta had, if anything. The newer DeTs probably have some
thing similar.
I've add that in the comments section at my site.
The devil is in the details !
