Good for you George! I was at odds with my dad for about 7 years and didn't see him in that time. I've always regretted it. My dad's a proud man and though he'll never admit it, I know that it tore his heart out being apart from me too. I see him every week now and enjoy making up for all the lost time. Like you, I got a new grand child, life is good!
