When you decide to adjust your adjustable shocks, you encounter the problem of where to obtain a wrench to do the job. After about 15 telephone calls to just about everywhere, I recalled my Moto-Cross days and remembered that the Honda CR-500 Moto-Cross machine had a gas shock very similar in design to the gas filled shocks on my Pantera. Voila! The local Honda motorcycle dealer had just what I was looking for, a 'shock spanner wrench' in stock for half the price that the local speed shop (Yearwood Speed & Custom) was going to sell it to me for, after a 'special order' paid 'up front' type of arrangement, that I didn't need.

What you may want is what I got. The 'Motion Pro' Shock Spanner Wrench has two sizes in one wrench: 68mm and 87mm, one on either end. You will only need one wrench. The springs on a Pantera are much, much more stiff than on a moto-cross bike or ATV. Thus, the spring will hold the 'spanner ring-nut' closest to the shock firmly in place while the 'lock spanner-nut' is loosened.

The local Honda dealer charged me $15.99 plus tax for the 'Shock Spanner Wrench.'

For you guys in Europe and Australia, I'm certain that there are Honda motocycle dealers with Moto-Cross bikes and ATV's and thus 'Shock Spanner Wrenches' in stock, but none-the-less, here's a web-site for all of you: http://www.motionpro.com

These guys have several other tools on their website they want to tell you about also.
