The simplest way is to have a friend push tghe clutch ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR while you get into the access hole in the top of the bellhousing with a feeler gauge. If you can push a 0.040" feeler gauge (or larger) between the clutch disc & flywheel, it's a long-throw. Most brand-new Panteras could not get 0.040" of disengagement, which is still only 020" on each side of the disc- not very much!
