Does anyone have a preference on which plugs to get? The parts guy said Autolite 25? Seems the last time I got AF25? Did the numbers change?The parts guy didn't seem to know much more then me! Which is scary! Thanks

I've run Autolites Autolite AP25's before with no problems.
Stay away from Champion Platinum tip plugs..

Roger that....... I did try some NGK's and didnt like them. The AP25's seem to burn quite nicely. (btw, the term the guy used "Autolite 25" was possibly generic......... because they have the AP25's, like was said are platinum, but think they als0 have APP25s.......probably even iridium ones.......... but all "AP25")

An AR spark plug is a racing spark plug, it has a "cut back" side electrode to expose the spark better, which is a nice feature.
AP designates a platinum center electrode. A platinum center electrode is suposed to maintain it's sharp edges longer, which is also a good thing. APP designates a platinum tip on both the center & side electrodes.
If you want to experiment, try running your gaps at 0.060", this should improve your idle quality. But it's harder on your cap, rotor & wires.
