Speedo

It is supposed to do that. If you look closely you'll see a little black needle sticking off the face of the speedometer keeping it from going any lower. This is Alejandro's way of telling you need to be driving faster

Quite a few supercars are rigged this way- many Porsches also have a limiting pin set in the speedo face. I first noticed this in trying to run a T & D rally with a speed of 15mph (through a school zone!) The little flat-black painted pin is virtually invisible unless you really examine closely.

So if it says 60mph, are you really going 60mph or are you really going 50mph because it needle starts at 10mph?..

Assuming you run 26-1/2" dia rear tires, you're going 60. The pin only prevents the needle from dropping below a certain speed. Try driving VERY slow-you;'ll notice the needle twitches & bounces. This's what the pin tries to prevent.
