I know the square came first, does anybody know around what number the change was made to round?

#2036 has straight cuts front and rear and a flat trunk.

For the early cars, Alejandro was cutting someone else's bumpers, hence the "straight cuts." Does anyone know whose?
The list of parts sourced from a another manufacturer is quite long for our cars, but in 20 years, I’ve never heard the square cut bumpers were sourced from some other vehicle.
certainly possible, be interesting to see if anybody chimes in with more information
