I'm 65 years old, in a wheelchair and sometimes grumpy. It's been a good life...I've been a pirate, a poet, a pawn and felt like a king.
I've flown my own planes, scuba dived on three continents, sky dived, been to war, been in movies and on tv and raised a family. There ain't much that thrills me anymore.
EXCEPT, when I go out in the early Sunday morning air and wake up the beast. I crawl out of my chair and settle in, hit the start button and the earth moves.
I go out for some twisties and some interstate, all the time I'm being massaged by the drone or thunder of that big lump hitting me in the backside.
After 85 -90 miles I lead it back to the stable and let it rest. It is one thing that I have to admit thrills me to the core.
Ask me if I love this car.
