Great show at a great venue. Here's another chance for the northeast DeTomaso contingent to show our stuff. Saratoga was fun, but it was after all, just a european car show, this one is for the Italians only. Upwards of 500 of them, all kinds.

It's very well attended and they love the Panteras, go to Google images and search "Lars Anderson Tutto Italiano". My car comes up twice in the first couple of pages.

The August 2011 date unfortunately was rained out, but the make-up event in October was so popular they've added it to the regular line up.

Here's a shot from last years October show. Six Panteras and a very nice Mangusta made it out.

Wondering if any New Englanders might be interested in joining a Pantera road trip on Sat 8/4.

A few guys from the Long Island NY Pantera Club are coming up to attend the Lars Anderson Tutto Italiano show on Sunday 8/5. On Saturday they're thinking about taking a road trip to Ogunquit ME.

Thinking about meeting up with them on I-95 at the rest area near Seabrook NH and joining the convoy.

Interested?
Got an email from the Larz Anderson Tutto Italiano folks today:

I can't believe the interest this year?! I've done the show in the past with no more than three Panteras there. Got lumped into the "Italian other" class. I am really depressed because it is my 20th wedding anniversary that weekend. I proposed the show and my bride had something else in mind.

Hmmmm....choices.....marriage or the car show....darn it. Have fun that weekend guys. I can't join you. Hopefully it will go well and you'll all want to do it again next year.
Larry, thanks for listing this event! It was great to see you George and Bob again. And I'm glad that Bob made such an effort to get people out. It was a very classy event in a beautiful location and just meeting our very own wellis made it worth the trip!

I finally got to meet Tajon and Chris. Awesome cars, both! I'm sorry but I forget the name of the guy with the nice burgundy cat from FL.

My apologies for not saying goodbye to everyone. We cut out early to avoid the big storm that hit everyone else on the way home. We only had it for a short time on our way to Stowe VT for a couple of days of cool weather and relaxation after some crazy heat.

What a surprise when one of the show judges came over to me and said something "about this car" that I couldn't make out very well over the noise.

I asked if he knew anything about these cars and he said "Yeah, I know a lot about these cars!"

I felt stupid when I found out he was indeed our own PIBB star Wellis, Mrs DeTomaso's nephew!

Before heading to Boston for the show, we all met at a fantastic Lobster shack that Larry picked out to avoid the traffic going north.

That green in the background is marsh, not grass. The tide was coming in as we ate lobster and the best fried clams I ever had. If we would have stayed any longer stuffing ourselves and drinking wine that Denis and Rhonda brought along, our cats might have floated away!

David you couldn't have summed up the weekend any better. I also enjoyed all the time spent with the group at lunch and at the show on Sunday. It's funny how you posted almost the same exact picture as I was planning on. I guess great minds think alike. I hope you and your wife enjoyed your stay in Vermont. That's where I grew up as a kid and had my first experience driving my step father's Pantera up Route 100 to Stowe.

Until we meet again my friends!

George
