Recently purchased and installed the new Tjaarda 17" wheels. The Pantera's nose is higher by about 2" and the tail is about 2" higher. This car runs stock springs and shocks and I wish to upgrade same.
I had read that Mr. Goran Malmberg had recommended 350/lbs front and 500/lbs. rear springs for the group which ordered Alden shocks and springs.

Please advise spring length to lower the vehicle without compromising safety.

Thanks-Dkarai

Something does not sound right about your ride height. If you were running stock 15 wheels with tires that were comparable to the original Arriva tires in height you should be lower in the front by .12 and the back by .32. What size tires did you put on your new wheels? Most owners use 335/35ZR17 on the back 17X11 rims and 245/40/ZR17 on the front 17X8 rims. This page http://www.panteraplace.com/page121.htm and this page http://www.panteraplace.com/page18.htm might be helpful. Note the lower ride height with the new wheels and tires compared to the stock car with spring spacers. With stock Koni type shocks and no spring spacers my lower A arms on the front are parallel with the ground (perfect setup) so the car cannot be lowered any further without messing up the suspension and steering geometry.

Tire are as follows:
Fronts 225-45-17
Rears 335-35-17

To the eye, the car appears okay, but I noticed the front valance is standing higher from the ground and noticeable gaps between the top of the tires and the lips of the fenders. The offset is perfect.

Thanking you-Dkarai
