Once had the plan to drive the tail one of the times I was in TN – but on the other hand, I wonder at what speed indeed you still can drive that road seen that it is so popular, and uniformed people keep a close eye on that particular road.

Driving a twisty road once, I got pulled over in NC. Since I drove around with screaming tyres, cop concluded I sure must have been speeding – he told me he heard me coming from far…lol. Said “sir, the road signs say I’m allowed to do 50 here, and as far as I understand the rules, that applies to corners too, as I don’t see signs telling me I’m supposed to slow down for them”. Guy didn’t appreciate my sense of humour, but got away with it, been told to please drive a little bit more relaxed Big Grin

Got once pulled over in a TX "zero tolerance zone" too, for speeding at max maybe 3mph or so. That was a less fun experience... Roll Eyes

Worn out Goodyear Gaterbacks on front, Fresh sport pilots 335 35 17 on back. Sure felt like the right combo. I could not imagine the car sticking better. Well, I was just following the cars in front, and damn sure not gonna let get away. I did not hear squeal from any of the cars... except for sombody's wife getting nausuas. It ain't no flatland. I came back home VIA the Bootleggers hy 28. I went through Franklin NC kinda lost 28 for a few miles. Other than that it was 45 55 max, one turn after another. This is 28, it cuts the very corner of Georgia. http://www.facebook.com/video/...09883748603&comments
