Dennis,
Well, that's an interesting question....
Since there were a couple of cry babies last year because they thought the raffle took to long, JT decided that in order to keep them happy, we should do the target prizes first so they could leave after the target prizes were done since they had better things to do
What I figured out from this year, it's not that the raffle takes so long. It's the fact that all the stuff before the raffle is so long winded that by the time we get to the raffle, people are burnt out sitting there. So it really doesn't matter how fast I go through the raffle, people are still going to complain how long it takes. No matter if it only took 30-40 minutes to raffle off everything we had
As you know, I was already getting complaints from some on how long it was taking before we even started the raffle. Made me laugh considering I had nothing to do with the stuff prior to the raffle and hadn't even started the raffle yet. Pretty inconsiderate of those that started to complain before the raffle even started. But whatever......
Maybe next year we should just draw 1 ticket and give the winner everything. That should speed things up
You know my attitude, I could care less about the cry babies, they complain about anything and everything anyway. There is no making them happy. They are not the reason I host the raffle anyway, I do it for those that actually appreciate the effort and work I put into it.
God knows, there isn't much appreciation from very many......But the one's that do appreciate the efforts are the one's that count, the one's I do it for and will continue to do it for as long as I'm asked to do it
