the level of the San Joaquin River @ Manteca has reached the flood stage

A friend sent photos of Williams north of Scramento, the house she grew up in flooded as well as I5.

I hope all our Pnatera brethren are on higher ground.

The levee just south of HWY 120 Manteca was breeched yesterday 2-20, allowing the San Joaquin to flood-in. This is a 'Low-Land' of Cow Pastures and New Housing Developements. There was a Mandatory Evacuation of some 300. As of this Morning 2-21, The Levee was repaired through the Night. The Water Level reached above the Sidewalks at most homes. Mostly the Streets South of Town were actually 'Flooded'. I did not see, on the News, that any Homes had been Flooded. My Home (and Shop), In North Manteca, are 'Safe' (for now), being 7 Feet above the 'Flood Level'.

We've had some flooding here in San Jose from the Coyote Creek breach downstream of the Anderson Reservoir.

Lot's of people displaced and lots of property damage.

Highway 101 was closed in both directions for a period of time yesterday evening and this morning.

But of course, our illustrious Governor Moonbeam still insists we have a drought!
