The Norwegians are coming!

Gaffer who toured the US. Thought this was very interesting. Sort of like a bunch of classic BMW and Porsche owners taking there cars for a tour of the Autobahn!

Please welcome a group of norwegian car nuts from my neighborhood (no, not
again!), going Route 66 with their own classic american cars.
16 or 17 cars have been shipped from Norway to cruise the route, starting
in Chicago 06/06/2006 at 06:06.
They would love others to cruise along, meet and chat. They have planned
for years and will be driving the oldest parts of the route available. The
group leader Harry Kjensli (member of my local "amcar"-club) knows more
about Route66 than you can imagine. He is a US fan and is also primus
motor for our local 4th of july night cruise, with some 2000 american cars
participating.
