Two people meet on the subway. A man in his 30s and a young woman in her mid 20s. The man and the woman start talking and he asks her what she does for a living. She tells him that she is a Baptist Sunday school teacher. They talk for the whole ride and at the end of the ride the man asks if she would like to join him for dinner. The young woman says yes and they exchange phone numbers.
The man calls the woman later that night and they set a time for him to meet her at her house to pick her up. When the man gets there to get her they get in his car and head for the restaurant. After they have been seated and are looking at the menu to decide what to have for dinner the man asks her if she would like to have a cocktail before dinner.
The woman gets a shocked look on her face and says "Oh, no! What would I tell my Sunday school class?"
So then they order dinner and after dinner the man pulls out a pack of cigarettes and says "I have to smoke after I eat. Would you like a cigarette?"
Again the woman says "No I don't smoke. What would I tell my Sunday school class?"
The man feels bad that he has been drinking and smoking while spending time with this sweet young Sunday school teacher and he hopes that he hasn't offended her.
On the way back to her house they pass a hotel and, jokingly he asks if she would like to stop and get a room at the hotel. The woman replies "That would be very nice."
Shocked, the man flips a quick U-turn in the middle of the street and they run to the hotel for a room. After a long night of "love making" they are both exhausted and fall asleep. The next morning the man wakes up and finds he is laying next to the young Sunday school teacher. He thinks to himself 'what did I do? I should have never done this with a Sunday school teacher.' The man keeps thinking about how bad he feels for this and finally asks the woman, "What are you going to tell your Sunday school class?"
The woman says "I'll tell them the same thing I always tell them."
“What's that?"
"You don't need to drink or smoke to have a good time."
