Yeah, the first time I heard about that WA classic plate I was blown away! With the popularity of classic cars you have to sort of understand, especially when everyone's daily driver becomes a classic...Lol

I still see so many out of state plates here in NV, especially OR where registration is dirt cheap in comparison. It's not all big brother, there's a lot of people who want the benefits of living in one state, but not willing to pay their share.

Not sure how the state arbitrarily appraises a vehicle? That sucks, fortunately we are still a no State tax State for now, but with all the Casinos shut down due to COVID-19 and not gambling or room taxes coming in, I'm wondering how long it will last.

NV recently started requiring mileage submission with registration renewals, obviously with the daily drivers that is taken automatically via the OBD II at smog, but I just throw in an arbitrary number for the classics, you just know eventually they will impose a pay per mile tax. Right now the Pantera is about $40/year without any vanity plates etc.
