I have a design client that owns a high end 3D scanner and it is amazing. They use a five axis router to cut large things out of wood or foam, then cast them to produce the item in epoxy, concrete, fiberglass, etc. Or, they can send the file to a rapid prototype machine (like in the vid) or C&C machine to make the item out of harder materials.
I have been trying to figure out what I can use his equipment for.
