Not compared to a Shelby motor. Go there and get a quote on his new all aluminum 427 crate motor sometime. It will be like getting hit with a bucket of ice water when you first get out of bed in the morning.

Sure is a lot of money for only 550 HP. Summit is now selling created Ford racing motors for 12,000.00 that have more HP.

Well I have found a company that builts the ultimate Ford motors, they also told me by phone that they have built motors for a Pantera Vendor.
I have seen one of their motors in a 92 Mustang and watched it run in a 8th mile with tire spin and turned a 5.12 also asked other ford racers about the company and they most said they wish they had one.
This is no advertisement but just wanted to share this with other pantera owners they have some pretty high HP motors and not all that way out of pricing for the motors others have.
Also found out they have built stuff for Roush Racing.

Talked with them on the phone yesterday about the 427 625hp motor and they said it would take about 8 wks to build, hope this helps some out here on the club site.
Plus a lot of Cobra cars run their motors too.
