BTW, I think most vendors have a replacement sticker available. It's not necessary to re-use the old label.
Your two labels are different and I have a replacement label that is different still.
What year is your car lotuspete? And what about you, jb1490.
Luckily all three version carry that warning not to tow a trailer. I'm sure the boys at U-Haul could cobble a hitch to the back of a Pantera. But where are you going to find a trailer with "V" rated tires? Smiler

Racerdave,

My car is a '71. This is the original label and it has never been removed. There is another label underneath. It appears to be the same width, but only half as high. I will try to separate them when I remove them to have the car painted. The smaller label may have been a "European" label, while the larger one may have been put on by Bill Stroppe's crew when the car came into the US at Long Beach, CA in '71.
As I look at the three tire labels, I would guess that mine was "issued" first, Racerdave's was second, and Lotuspete's was third.

There was a recent post that had a yellow (I think) Pantera parked in front of a trailer. The pic was a 3/4 view of the front of the car, making it appear as though the car was hitched to the trailer. There was something mentioned about plenty of towing power. Ahhh, here it is:

Looking at the last tag with the vehicle capacity 430lb!
I need to go on a diet! (no fat chic's) I know they need loven too! But 430lb is not much. By the time you get you and your buddy, wife, girl friend, dog (well BIG dog) pick one! Oh tools, beer, soda, water, and clean choonee's! You may be over weight!
You may need to leave something at home...Hmmm what might that be???
