Since the tire manufacturers have quit building Z rated tires larger than 245, you are pretty much out of luck. That is why so many people are buying the 17" & 18" diameter Campagnolo replicas that many of the Pantera vendors offer. 16X8 will work for the front, but there is not a good selection of 16" tires for the rear. 16X8 and 17X11 wheels with 245/45X16 front tires and 335/35X17 rear tires seems to be a popular combination.
The 245X15 will fit nicely on the front, if you have the fender lips rolled up. I use 245/45X15 Dunlops for street and 245/45X15 Hoosiers for sporty car events.
I personally use 275-55VR-15 Pirellis on 8" rear rims. They aren't too big for the rim which supports the casing properly, plus this size is 26-1/2" in dia, which lets the speedometer work perfectly with those highway mile-markers. Sadly, they are no longer available anywhere in the world (in V-speed-rated compounds). Hoosier makes a DOT tire for cometition, but the wear rating is likely to be a matter of days rather than thousands of miles...
